Arjuna, John’s Lonely Copy Cat Here…

This is Arjuna, John's three-legged cat, running the office while John's out delivering a baby.

Boy, I'm jealous already.

They haven't called me or emailed. So I don't know anything more than you.

They never call me.

I only hope this extra mouth doesn't mean John and Nicole start feeding me less. For a while there John tried to convince me to hunt my own food. Little does he know you need to start us cats young, or you'll never break the eat-out-of-dish habit.

So maybe he should teach baby Jonah instead!

Anyways, the New Year has been good for John. I'm taking a look at his "Scoresheet" right now -- John actually has an Excel sheet with all his financial goals for the four areas of his writing business. Each day he marks down how much money he's received from each. Granted, most of the slots are empty, as money tends to come in chunks.

Also, most of it comes at the end of the month. But as of the 20th, his websites had brought in $349. His consulting business, $472. His copywriting $3,200.

$4,020 total -- and, like I said, most the invoices go out (and come in) at the end of the month.

So, for those who ask (like shessh, an email every other day!) YES you can make money writing for businesses.

Heck, John's even had me write a few things for his clients...
