I just discovered a super-easy way to either...
| 1. |
Get an EXTRA hour more of copywriting work done each week or... |
| 2. |
Get your copy week done an hour EARLIER. |
Now I thought I'd share it with you--as many people email asking me how to better manage their time. Especially when we copywriters like to work at home.
Well, working at home can be a blessing and hardship...
(I'll tell you my lastest productivity secret in a second—just let me ramble for a minute... Okay?)
I absolutely love the fact that I don't have to commute to work. Can't imagine doing that.
I love the fact that I can do my exercise routine — click here to see — anytime of the day I feel like it (though I usually prefer first thing in the morning). I can have lunch with my wife and children. I can take a break whenever I need it.
That's the up side.
The downside is that it's so easy to get distracted. Today, here's what happened...
| • |
Problems involving baby's undisciplined bowel movements. |
| • |
Landlord needed to change lock on door. |
| • |
Toilet overflowed. |
| • |
The person who runs the company that cleans our house kept on calling trying to get hold of their crew. |
But, I wouldn't work anywhere else. It's great.
Especially if you maximize all the time you save being at home (instead of squandering it).
Which brings me to productivity secret...
Which I'll tell you tomorrow, as it looks like it's time to give little Jonah a bath. Sorry, family first.
