Before I tell you about Ms. $6,400-Copywriting-Newbie-Hot-Shot I wanted to say that, I too, landed three clients in my first few months as a full-time copywriter with relative ease.

I didn't make as much as Terri (the former school secretary) but...

They paid up to $1,000 for one or two pages of copy. One even paid royalties. I've applied this system on three different occasions. One of them led to doing web copy and consulting.

P.S. Don't think you need to have exceptional copywriting skills to handle the work that this will bring. If you know the basics to direct-response (e.g. headline, benefits over
features, etc.) you'll be overqualified.
